J1 visa students (up to 4 months work/travel program)

Work/Travel J-1 Visa Program provides American employers with a unique seasonal staffing solution. Students work in entry-level jobs in hotels, inns, casinos, amusement parks, country fairs, national parks, campgrounds and restaurants in resort areas. We recruit applicants who are hardworking, flexible and ready for new experiences.

The J-1 visa Work/Travel Program offers international university students the opportunity to live and work in the United States for up to four months during their summer vacation. Participants must be available to work for at least three months. Students are offered entry-level temporary employment in different areas throughout the U.S. Participants receive a wage, assistance with housing, program support and an optional month for travel to explore the United States.

All visas are arranged by CES. There is no paper work for the employer, apart from signing the job offer. The students may be employed in any of the departments of your company.

They will have a highly acceptable level of English language (all our candidates are checked for English competency). Students can be trained for their jobs even before they arrive in the USA (e.g. we can provide "dealer" training for students preparing to work for a casino), so that they arrive ready to begin their assignments. The usual participant in the J-1 Visa Work/Travel program is enrolled as a full-time student in a degree-granting, post-secondary study program in their home country and is 18-29 years old. They are able to demonstrate high or intermediate levels of English. What's more they are willing to work in an entry-level job paying the minimum wage.

H-2B visa employees (up to 11 months entry level or professionals)

H-2B visa holders may work for a period of up to eleven months and can arrive at different times of the year. As a rule H-2B visa holders can only work during the employer's specified season. The H-2B visa procedure requires some paperwork provided by and sent from your company to CES. With the assistance of our experienced immigration lawyers this is a relatively simple procedure for the employer.

Please read the CES/Student Adventure H-2B visa program manual.

J-1 Internship (up to 18 months training program)

The Internship Training Program is based on the J-1 visa. The trainee is allowed to work in your company for an agreed period of time, not to exceed 18 months (average 12 months). The program is a practical learning experience designed for young people (age 22 to 35).

The candidate must either be a student with at least two years of university or be a recent university graduate or young professional. The first benefit is that you can welcome a well-educated and motivated international intern in your company. Your most important responsibility is to supply a "training plan" outlining the objectives of the internship. U.S. government regulations mandate that this form is thoroughly completed and agreed upon by both your company and the intern prior to the start of the internship.
